This policy explains what information RecordTide LLC ("we", "us") collects for RecordTide and how we use it.
Information about subscribers
When you subscribe we receive your name, business email, company name and billing details. Payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record; we never see your full card number. We use this information to deliver editions, manage your subscription, provide support and meet legal obligations. We do not sell subscriber information.
Information in the digest
Editions contain business information from public government licensing records: business and trade names, premises addresses, license types, dates, status and county. Owner of record is shown only when the owner is a business entity. We do not include individual owners' names, mailing or home addresses, or personal phone numbers and emails.
If you are listed and want your business removed from future editions, email hello@recordtide.com and we will add it to our suppression list.
Website
This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security.
Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and we honor requests within 10 business days.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the Service, such as payment (Paddle), email delivery and hosting, and only as needed for that purpose.
Retention
We keep subscriber records for as long as you subscribe and as long afterward as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, and California residents have the rights the CCPA provides. Email hello@recordtide.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
